Tons happening at MTM Photography And Custom Edits Again

Where do I start... well here I will start with the awesome never seen before July Special :

This session is good for any newly booked session in July! I am looking for creative, different, themed.. and so on.. Pennell Farms, Wesleyan Woods, And Millers Orchard have all agreed or worked out something with me to take images at their locations!  Speaking of that.. here is a super cute example piece of just one spot out there..at Pennell Farms.. I just think  this this lil one is super cute and she was a blast! Her family has worked with me when they can for years.. I think they also earned the farthest traveled customers too see me award lol..

I own tons of cute props to make sessions unique, different, and fun! If prop stashes can be an addiction.. I guess I am guilty as charged! 

I am always up for fun weddings and couples sessions! I have many ideas for those too! 

This was such a fun couple.

We have also made a trip to Renaissance Fest and fell in love with it

I would actually like to work with people in costume! 

We have also been visiting Pet Angel Cat Rescue In Frankenmuth MI

So many pets in need of a home.. which leads me to a fundraiser with a pet feature in a calendar plus a pet session!

MTM Photography And Custom Edits.. a fun a busy fall!

 The seniors of 2013 are still making their way into the studio! They have been a great group this year... very fun, creative, and interesting to photograph. Being a local photographer in Vassar I have been able to photograph Seniors from all over Vassar, Caro, USA, Reese, and more. I was even able to photograph a senior from a contest MTM Photography and Custom edits had for a senior session give away! The winner was so awesome to work with!

I have also noticed another group of babies making it's way through the studio!  I love newborn and Baby photography. This has become one of the things I specialize in most! I love when mommies to be come in for baby bump sessions . It's an awesome time to bond with the new family to be...

Holiday mini's have been taking up a section of my time as well. Seasonal photography for children is always a nice addition to the mix..

New light testing has been a fun part of my last few weeks. Model Katie was a huge help this week for a little fun time for a personal project!

It's just Peachy!

Well 5 days ago the newest member to the Family arrived. My brother and fiance were blessed with a healthy baby girl! I can not begin to say how excited I was.  I photograph others blessings all the time, so to see on closer to me personally was an awesome change of pace!

 

Well, from the day I knew Georgia was to be a girl.. and named Georgia.. my photographer brain envisioned a  Georgia Peach theme.   I love to play off names or interests.  I had no idea it would spread, Gram-ma already is calling baby girl peaches!  Who knew ... right. So although I am swamped with sessions and editing I had to share this personal family / photographed event.

15 dollar minis... Theme shoots, and more! Models needed for discounted sessions...

These sessions will go from July 2012 to end of October. These are mainly limited to weekdays ...Most  of these themes can be done as part of  a regular session as well. 

MTM Photography and Custom Edits Is looking to host a series of Mini sessions at an awesome deal! Minis will be about 15 to 25 minutes long and consist of  about 5 image choices on a professional online Gallery. I will be choosing some lucky parents and kids to do extra images for ads.  Here are the themes.

* Bubble Buddies ( studio props are provided )

*All American (baseball glove and Mitt provided by studio to use )

This theme still needs baby models, toddler. or add to regular session.

*Little Lady Dress Up Studio has feather boas in some colors, you may bring one as well. Studio has some hair bows, diaper covers, tutus, and more.. Plus a zebra mini couch!

* Cuties in Camo... This is up to you to dress your cutie in camo.

Models want for Cuties in Camo or add to regular session..

FALL AND HALLOWEEN COSTUME THEME MODELS WANTED. I WILL BE SHOOTING ADS FOR INDOOR HALLOWEEN AND FALL THEME SETS END OF AUGUST/BEGINNING SEPTEMBER ...

Fall outdoor will be available for limited time... we all know how the leaves can come and go... { but are soooo pretty }

 This little guy was awesome... I loved the session. He was sooo good.  I have a lot of fun working with his family. It is always great to get to enjoy a  session outdoors as well.

Instagram Fun To Come SOON!

Like everyone else in America ... I have become addicted to Instagram! 

As I have noticed in a trend of my own as well as others.... Photographs on Instagram are of food, fun times, family, friends, pets and more!  I got to thinking... what will happen to all these cherished images I took when I didn't Have My DSLR with me?  So I decided to try to print these through my photo Lab! From some phones,  its possible to print rather large, some say up to 16x16... I decided for my first project I would print them as 3x3.   I will be blogging and hopefully pinning these fun crafts to show many ways to display the awesome fun on the images... 

In case anyone is wondering for sessions.....

I can do professional style square images in studio and on location, that are unique and cool as well.  

 Yes, Photographing lunch is OK!

Happy  Birthday soon, to another little guy I have shot with for most of this year... I got to do yet another smash Cake session today... Love them!  The kids do as well!  As I have said before, it lets them just play and have some fun!  I have to say, the awesome eye's on this baby just sparkle when he smiles!  I was also amazed, this baby , whom is the youngest of my 1 year old  group for this year.... can do some walk-en!  So, happy Birthday Jaxon. I would not, could not, help but smile all the way through this session!

Want to look a little thinner for your next session/event?

Here is a small list of things you can do to look a little more slender for your next occasion/ shoot.  First : Choose a photographer that knows some corrective posing.  {hint, if they act confused at the word, they don't know what it is. }  Second : For 48 to 72 hours or so before your session, wedding, etc... Salt is the enemy!  You can skip those packaged meals etc for a few days to look awesome right?  Some people say they look/ feel inches smaller when doing this alone!  Third: Hydrate!   Water, fruit like watermelon, grapes, apples, berries! This is awesome all the time...but most importantly for 48+ hours before session/event! Forth: Make sure clothes are not too big or too small, I guarantee, people will be able to tell if your sucking it in...so be aware of this in the dressing room when choosing apparel..baggy clothing can add lbs as well.  Lastly : Find time to De-stress, you will carry your body more elegantly  if you are not stressed... a massage, a Epsom salts bath, a soak in a hot tub, sauna, or other such activity the day before is helpful.  

I will be sharing some tips on things to do for your skin in a future blog. I am always looking for vendors to help with tips and products that work for customers.... Customers can also share what has worked for them...

I was so happy to do Alana's 3 month session today. I feel like it was only a week ago we did the newborn session!    She  is  sweet little baby!  I loved this shot, it's just not often you get sleepy shots at this age, and I was pleased that we did! I am falling into my niche area's in photography over the years, and babies are a big part of that!  I love that I get to watch these sweet angels grow up!  It's always an honor to be made a part of a family's life in this way!  To be trusted to capture their precious memories and help preserve them forever! I find myself looking forward to each visit with new ideas! TY ...

 I loved how fun this bride and groom were.... This shot made my day!  They were sooo sweet and sooo fun!

 Babies and toddlers are so fun, I am forever adding new props, backdrops, and other items! This age is soooo, fun!
